Do you know how many thousand cubans Castro killed, even before the so called revolution?
Castro was a ganster before become a political ganster, and later the cuban Don.
And cubans are not well educated, are well indotrinated. Well brainwashed and well punished.
Don’t just go to Cuba as a tourist: Go and try to live as a cuban… you’ll see.

Castro NEVER had good intentions, his goal was, from day one, become a tyrant for life.
I born in Cuba and I build and take a raft to escape from these good intentions. How ungrateful I am !

haha.. well not exactly about cuba or twitter.. but my response as a former senior product manager at oracle that you start learning mysql instead. And there’s a ton of documentation on the web about that. I know Oracle still has its uses, but a lot of big production environments are running on mysql now.

Thanks for your comments.

But I need to clarify one thing – actually I think the embargo is a good idea – the more pressure put on Castro, the better, especially since he aligns with the enemies of the USA. While I am certain he has good intentions, the results of his system is pure evil and he needs to be stopped.

I really liked reading your twitters and what you say about Cuba, Castro, Socialism and their intentions. This is what I have thought for a long time after meeting Cubans who stayed in Cuba or talking to some of their families. i also think that if the US stopped the embargo it would really help Cuba have a more open society and bring some change.

No, I meant it. Socialists have *very* good intentions and the ideas behind their system are far more humane than capitalism. Thats why many Cubans support Fidel Castro.

The problem is that socialism just doesn’t work unless its propped up, eg the USSR from 1960-1990 and Venezuela today.

Castro genuinely does have good intentions. One example is that he worked to eliminate illiteracy in Cuba as soon as they took over in 1959. They pronounced illiteracy eliminated within 1 year of the Cuban revolution. [whether that actually happened or not, I don't know].

Today, the Cuban population is very well educated. But overall his policies are a nightmare.

I’d always heard that the road to Hell was paved with good intentions. Perhaps they meant the road to Havana. Or is that redundant?
